Hello,
I'm Humberto Perez

My love for photography began in childhood, inspired by my father and the magic of analog cameras. Over the years, I explored different styles—capturing people, fleeting moments, and portraits—but never felt a clear artistic direction. That changed during a workshop in the Canary Islands, where I fell in love with landscape photography and found my true creative path.

Nature evokes in me a sense of fantasy, solitude, and awe—emotions that guide my lens. Through my work, I try to reflect the quiet power and beauty of the natural world, offering viewers not just an image, but a feeling.

Photography has taken me far—from my home country of Venezuela to my current home in Miami, Florida, and onward to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and my special place, Iceland. I’m also drawn to the beauty closer to home, celebrating Florida’s vivid landscapes and the energy of its people.

I shoot with a Nikon Z8 and a versatile set of lenses. The Z 24-120mm is my everyday companion, while the Z 14-30mm and Z 100-400mm help me adapt to unique perspectives. I have found inspiration in the work of Nigel Danson, Monish Mansharamani and Kilian Schönberger among others. I’ve recently added drone photography to my toolkit, inspired by photographers like Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove. My editing process happens in Lightroom and Photoshop, where I shape the mood and detail of each image.

This website is more than a portfolio—it’s an invitation. Here, you can explore my work, purchase fine art prints, or book one-on-one mentoring sessions. Whether you're a collector, a fellow photographer, or just someone who loves the outdoors, I hope my images bring a bit of the world I see into your space—and maybe even spark your own creative journey.
